Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 25 September 2026 · MedDev Advisory · Kanpur, India

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains cancellation and refund arrangements for MedDev Advisory digital books and tools, consulting services and custom packs.

Read this policy with our Terms of Service and your accepted written offer. An enquiry alone creates no order or payment obligation. Your offer identifies the resource or work, price, licence, delivery arrangements and applicable dated terms.

2. Standard digital books and tools

  • Before delivery or access: you may cancel a standard digital-product order and receive a full refund of any amount paid.
  • After delivery or access begins: change-of-mind refunds are generally not offered, subject to the mandatory rights described below.
  • Duplicate payment: we refund the duplicate amount after reconciliation, taking account of any reversal already completed so the same payment is not refunded twice.

3. A problem with delivery, access or the file

Please contact us if you receive the wrong or a corrupted file, the resource materially differs from its description, delivery does not occur or misses an agreed commitment, or a technical access problem remains unresolved. We investigate promptly and provide an appropriate correction, replacement or refund.

Where you are entitled to a refund, we will not make it conditional on accepting a repair, replacement or store credit. An existing correction or update entitlement is not a substitute for a refund that the law requires.

4. Consulting services and custom packs

Cancellation is handled against the scope and terms you accepted. We retain only amounts that are both contractually and legally payable for agreed work properly completed and pre-approved non-recoverable costs, without double counting. We return the unearned balance.

If MedDev Advisory cannot deliver agreed work, we address the undelivered scope and refund any amount due for it. Any alternative scope or revised delivery arrangement must be agreed with you; it is not imposed instead of a refund that is owed.

5. Your mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy that applicable law preserves, including consumer withdrawal rights and remedies for defective or materially misdescribed supply, late agreed delivery or non-delivery. A professional resource does not, by itself, mean its purchaser has no consumer rights.

Digital delivery alone does not remove an applicable withdrawal right. Where immediate digital supply requires your express consent and explicit acknowledgement of losing that right, these must be obtained separately from general Terms acceptance, with the required durable confirmation. This policy is not that consent or acknowledgement. Rights concerning defects remain unaffected.

For services begun during an applicable withdrawal period, any legally required express request and proportionate-payment rules apply. Calling work a custom pack or consulting service does not automatically remove those protections.

6. How to request cancellation or a refund

Email support@meddevadvisory.com with your order or offer reference, purchaser email address and a brief explanation of the issue. If you do not have the reference, say so and provide enough non-sensitive information for us to locate the order.

Do not send full payment-card or bank-account credentials, passwords, PINs or authentication codes. If further payment verification is necessary, we will agree an appropriate secure method. See our Privacy Policy for how request information is handled.

7. Response and refund timing

We acknowledge refund and cancellation requests within 48 hours and normally provide a decision within seven calendar days. If we need information or additional review, we explain what is needed and when you can expect an update. These requests and estimates do not extend any applicable legal deadline.

We initiate approved refunds without undue delay, normally within seven business days of approval. Where an applicable law sets an earlier deadline, including one measured from your original cancellation or withdrawal notice, that deadline takes precedence.

Bank or payment-provider processing can affect when funds appear in your account; this does not extend an applicable statutory deadline. Where Indian consumer e-commerce rules apply, complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and redressed within one month of receipt. A request for information or revised estimate does not restart that period.

We use the original payment method where available. Any necessary alternative is agreed securely with the payer and must meet applicable banking and payment-provider requirements. We confirm the refund method and reference when the refund is initiated.

8. Licence and records after a refund

Subject to applicable mandatory rights and the accepted written offer, a full refund issued after delivery, a confirmed payment reversal or chargeback, or a valid licence revocation ends the right to use the affected digital resource. The licence holder must stop operational use and delete working copies, but may retain one non-operational archival copy only where applicable law or a documented quality-system record obligation requires it. A partial refund or credit does not end the licence unless agreed in writing.

9. Policy versions and existing orders

Later website changes do not retroactively restrict an existing accepted order. We retain the dated policy and terms identified in the accepted offer; changes to that order require agreement or a requirement of applicable law.

For a question about this policy, use the email address above. You can also review our Terms of Service before requesting an offer.
